Leslie has been a cloth doll artist for over a decade. She has her one-of-kind work shown in galleries and museums around the world. Leslie is the owner of ROotie ka zoOtie, which consists of a pattern line and dollmaking supplies available by catalogue and on her website. Leslie finds dollmaking is a gift that she is happy to share with others. She specializes in cloth dollmaking, which expands from primitive forms to hand-sculpted in clay with cloth overlays. Leslie loves meeting all her students when she travels to teach dollmaking worldwide. She finds that everyone is creative and tries to nurture that in her classes. At her ROotie StudiO in Denver, she holds classes twice a month and does private sessions along with her own doll making for commissions and new patterns. Leslie lives in Denver with her ever-supportive husband, Mark and her kitty, Isabella Sunshine.
